New Year on The Stunning Severn !- 2nd January 2010

For the New Year I headed to the Severn, with a blanket of light snow on the hills the river level ideal and running clear, I really didn't want to be anywhere else. The place was just stunning, the fishing for the day was to, having picked up my season ticket I quickly hit into Grayling after Grayling. Various Czech nymph patterns doing the business.

The cold snap had really brought the Grayling together, no magical monsters for the day but numerous large fish hitting the net. These days don't come round that often or at least they havn't over the past month or so due to conditions and river levels.

Please enjoy some pictures of the stunning Welsh countryside 'A Picture Speaks a Thousand words' !

Until next time..................................Tight Lines
