About Me

Welcome to the Phil Ratcliffe Fly Fishing Blog

I have been Fly Fishing for over 40yrs. My first fish caught on a fly rod at the age of seven from a river in Wales under the guidance of my Dad.

I am a fly fishing nut and enjoy all aspects of the sport.  My passion is fishing the Rivers both here in the UK and further afield.

I have put this blog together to keep alive some of the memories and to share tactics with fellow anglers.
